CO-MALE COMET OF THE WEEK

Name: Bryan Carney
Sport: Baseball
Hometown / High School: Grosse Pointe Woods / Grosse Pointe North
Accomplishments: Carney struck out 14 batters in seven innings to record the pitching win in Olivet’s 3-0 victory over Wilmington (Ohio) College. He allowed three hits and zero walks in the complete game performance. 

CO-MALE COMET OF THE WEEK

Name: Owen Fremeau
Sport: Track & Field
Hometown / High School: Jackson / Western
Accomplishments: Fremeau took first in the shot put (59 feet, 1/4 inch) and weight throw (63 feet) at the 2026 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships. His winning mark in both events were MIAA Championship records and the mark in the shot put was a UOlivet indoor record.

FEMALE COMET OF THE WEEK

Name: Kenzie Gray
Sport: Track & Field
Hometown / High School: Ottawa Lake / Whiteford
Accomplishments: Gray finished third in the weight throw and sixth in the shot put at the 2026 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships. Her mark in the weight throw (47 feet, 11-1/4 inches) moved her up to No. 2 on the UOlivet all-time Top 10 list, while her mark in shot put (36 feet, 11 inches) climbed her one spot to No. 8 on the top 10 list.
