Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - September 13, 2021

This week’s Dean Trailways Male Co-Comet of the Week is sophomore Cortaveon Barnett, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and graduate of Lawrence Central High School. Barnett accounted for four touchdowns in the football team’s 42-23 season-opening win at Eureka (Ill.) College. He had nine carries for 185 yards and three touchdowns to go along with two catches for eight yards and a touchdown. Barnett’s three touchdown runs covered 55, 36 and 75 yards.

This week’s Dean Trailways Male Co-Comet of the Week is junior Kjeil Dickinson, of Port Saint Joe, Florida, and graduate of Port Saint Joe High School. Dickinson scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory for the men’s soccer team over Earlham (Ind.) College.
