Men's soccer team falls to Roanoke, 5-0

The Olivet College men's soccer team fell to Roanoke (Va.) College, 5-0, today at the Roanoke Dominoes Classic. The Fighting Comets will play Greensboro (N.C.) College at on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

In the game, freshman Brad Polcyn (Marshall High School) made his collegiate debut in goal. He played the entire game, faced 23 shots (16 on goal) and made 11 saves.

Following tomorrow's game, Olivet will participate in the Ohio Wesleyan University Adidas Classic on Friday-Saturday, Sept. 5-6 in Delaware, Ohio. On Friday evening, the Comets will play Ohio Wesleyan at 7:30 p.m. before playing Capital University of Ohio on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
