Three UOlivet bowlers earn All-AHBA honors
OLIVET, Mich. – Three student-athletes from The University of Olivet have been named to the 2024-25 All-American Heartland Bowling Association (AHBA) teams. Sophomore Kendalyn Wilson is an All-AHBA First Team selection for the women, and sophomore Ryen Grigg and freshman Kory Nurse are All-AHBA Second Team picks for the men.
This season, Wilson has bowled 32 games and posted a team-best 180.75 average. She has three top-10 finishes. Wilson placed third and was named to the All-Tournament team at the first AHBA event on October 26 at Super Bowl in Canton.
This season, Grigg has averaged 207.48 pins over 29 games. He was the individual champion at the Warrior Classic on November 23, 2024, at Richland Lanes in Flint. Grigg also landed on the All-Tournament team with a third-place finish at the AHBA #4, held on December 7 at Thunderbowl I in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
In his first season at Olivet, Nurse has recorded a 205.08 average over 26 games. His top finish was ninth at both the AHBA #2 on October 27 at Super Bowl and AHBA #4.
