Wrestling team finishes in ninth-place at North Central Invitational

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Olivet College wrestling team finished in ninth-place at the 53rd Annual North Central College Invitational today at Gregory Arena in Naperville, Illinois. The Comets' lineup consisted of its back-up wrestlers.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The tournament featured 10 teams.
  • Wabash (Ind.) College had four champions and won the team title with 165 points. Olivet had three wrestlers place in the top six.
  • Two Comets finished in the top six of the 157-pound bracket. Senior Kevin Papak finished in second-place, losing to top-seed Nick Bova from Wabash in the championship match. Freshman Kyle Roberts was fourth.
  • At 184 pounds, junior Ryan Clark placed sixth.
