Women’s golf team sits 10th after first round of Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling

NORMAL, Ill. – The Olivet College women's golf team sits in 10th-place after the first round of the 2018 Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University and played at the Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Illinois.

  • Sophomore Nicole Deweyert shares seventh-place in the player standings with a 78. Her round featured 12 pars and six bogies (all on the back nine).
  • Sophomore Taylor Elley carded an 85, including a four-over 40 on the back nine.
  • Junior Hayley Cooper and freshman Crystal Lettinga shot identical 88s.
