  • Cross country teams receive academic honors from USTFCCCA

    The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams have received All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. In addition, junior Bruce Baker was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
  • Cross country teams end season at NCAA Regional

    The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams ended their season today by competing at the 2016 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Meet, hosted the championships and at the West Ottawa Golf Course in Holland.
  • Cross country teams finish sixth and eighth at MIAA Championships

    The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams placed sixth and eighth at the 2016 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships. Albion College hosted the championships at the Tomac Woods Golf Course in Albion. At the conclusion of the championships, it was announced junior Bruce Baker earned second-team All-MIAA honors.
  • Cross country teams compete at Inter-Regional Rumble

    The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed this morning at the Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin (Ohio) College. The races showcased a large number of schools who will be competing alongside the Comets at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional meet on Nov. 12.

  • Cross country teams run at LCC Invitational

    The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams ran this morning at the Lansing Community College Invitational, held at Grand Woods Park in Lansing. The Comet men placed eighth, while the women were ninth. The field included 10 junior colleges, four NAIA schools and three NCAA Division III schools.
  • Cross country teams place seventh and eighth at MIAA Jamboree

    The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams finished seventh and eighth at the 2016 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree, hosted by Alma and ran at the Pine River Country Club in Alma.
  • Cross country teams run at MSU Spartan Invitational

    The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams ran today at the 2016 Michigan State University Spartan Invitational. The races featuring schools from all NCAA, NJCAA and NAIA levels and more than 750 combined runners took place at the Forest Acres East Golf Course in East Lansing.

    Olivet College Athletic Director Ryan Shockey has announced the promotion of Karen Lutzke to head men’s and women’s track & field coach. Lutzke will continue to serve as the head men’s and women’s cross country coach.
