OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men's and women's swimming & diving teams have been named to the Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for the fall 2017 semester.
To earn this honor, teams must have posted a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher for the fall semester. Under the tutelage of first-year head coach Rob Brownell, the Olivet men finished the semester with a cumulative GPA of 3.64, while the women had a cumulative GPA of 3.46.
Overall, on the Scholar All-America Teams, there were 430 institutions represented across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA divisions. The OIivet men's GPA was the fourth-highest among the 110 NCAA Division III men's programs honored.
